Omkiran Sharma is the Director of Engineering and CISO at Rakuten Viki, where they have spearheaded cloud engineering, FinOps, and security initiatives for over a decade. Omkiran  also brings extensive expertise in data and multimedia engineering, particularly in video processing. They are currently leading their team's strategic transition to an AI-first approach, leveraging their recent deep dive into machine learning and artificial intelligence. Beyond the technical realm, Omkiran finds joy in exploring the philosophical side of human behaviour while discussing history and eating good food.
